Council of the Federation Literacy Award
The annual Council of the Federation Literacy Award recognizes outstanding achievement, innovative practice and excellence in literacy. This is an opportunity to celebrate the efforts of people from all walks of life who are contributing to increased literacy across British Columbia.
The award covers: early childhood, school-age, family, Aboriginal, adult, health, workplace, immigrant and community literacy. Possible recipients include: educators, volunteers, learners, community organizations and businesses.

Now in her 35th year working in the field, Laurie continues to serve the literacy community with a strong sense of commitment to both literacy learners and practitioners.
